Uses & Applications
An aromatic alcohol occurring naturally in cinnamon leaves, storax, and balsam.
Provides a sweet, balsamic, hyacinth-like floral odor.
Widely used in perfumery for floral (especially hyacinth, lilac, and lily of the valley) compositions.
Adds warmth and depth in soaps, detergents, and cosmetics.
Also used in flavorings (spicy, cinnamon-like notes in bakery, confectionery, and beverages).
