PEG-150 Distearate is a polyethylene glycol diester of stearic acid. HLB 18.9 (gives oil-in-water emulsions). Appears slightly cloudy in water, but clear in surfactant-containing solutions. Effective thickener for surfactant-containing products (e.g. shampoo, conditioner, shower gels).
